Free Music Concert Series – Who’s Playing Where in El Paso

The list of free music concert series grows by two this week. Alfresco! Fridays and Music on the Patio at La Vina Winery are the latest weekly events offering local or regional bands performing live music for free to get underway. Here’s a roundup of who’s playing at which free music concert series for the week of April 28 - May 3, 2014:

Wednesday April 30

Rudolph Free Music Series at the State Line Bar-B-Q – Shows are 21 and older. On the patio from 8 to 10 p.m. This week, Tejas Brothers. More Info

Friday May 2

Alfresco! Fridays - Fresh-air performances from local bands playing various genres of music. 6 p.m. No Outside Food or Beverages Allowed. No Pets Allowed. Still downtown, but now on the Convention Center Plaza. This week, Sorry about Your Sister. More Info

Friday at the Fire – Live music by local bands set against the ambiance of the Freedom Crossing at Ft. Bliss outdoor fireplace. 6 - 11 p.m. This week, 1st Armored Division Latin Band (salsa, Latin)

Saturday May 3

The Fountains at Farah Sunset Sounds – Local and regional band perform in The Promenade at the Fountains for “sunset’ shoppers,” weather permitting, from 7pm to 9pm. Blankets and lawn chair encouraged, food and beverages available. This week, Frontera Bugalu (7-9 p.m.) and Mariachi Los Toritos (6-7 p.m.). More Info
