El Paso’s Free Music Concert Series – Who’s Playing Where This Week

Whether you’re a fan of rock, jazz, cumbias or country, you’ll find a local band performing it at a free outdoor concert series on just about every day of the week this time of the year. Here’s a roundup of who’s playing where this week in El Paso:

Wednesday August 21

The Rudolph Free Music Series at the State Line Bar-B-Q. Shows are 21 and older. On the patio from 8 to 10 p.m. This week, it’s Radio La Chusma. More Info

Thursday August 22

Cool Canyon Nights. WestStar Bank presents Cool Canyon Nights in the cool shade of the 1,500-seat McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre. Music starts at 6:15 p.m. Concessions, including beer, will be for sale. This week, Team Havana. More Info

Friday August 23

Alfresco! Fridays. This week, Team Havana. 6 p.m. Arts Festival Plaza located between the El Paso Museum of Art and the Plaza Theatre. No outside food or beverages, or pets allowed. More Info

Friday at the Fire. Live music by local bands set against the ambiance of the Freedom Crossing outdoor fireplace. 6- 11 p.m. This week, Prime . DJ Darrin kicks the night off at 6 p.m.

Sunday August 25

Music on the Patio at La Vina Winery. Bring your favorite wine, snack, or a picnic and enjoy an afternoon of free entertainment on the lawn from Live By Request. 12:30pm – 4:30 pm. 4201 S. NM Highway 28 in La Union, N.M. one mile north of Vinton Road on Highway 28. 575-882-7632

Melodies at the Park. This annual series highlights a variety of local acts while showcasing some of the city’s parks. All shows start at 7 p.m. This week Sobredosis del Sabor will be performing at Salvador Rivas Park, 12515 Tierra Norte. Call 544-0753 for more info.
