El Paso’s Free Music Concert Series – Who’s Playing Where This Week
Whether you’re a fan of rock, jazz, cumbias or country, you’ll find a local band performing it at a free outdoor concert series on just about every day of the week this time of the year. Here’s a roundup of who’s playing where this week in El Paso:
Wednesday August 14
The Rudolph Free Music Series at the State Line Bar-B-Q. Shows are 21 and older. On the patio from 8 to 10 p.m. This week, it’s the Joe Barron Band. More Info

Thursday August 15
Cool Canyon Nights. WestStar Bank presents Cool Canyon Nights in the cool shade of the 1,500-seat McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre. Music starts at 6:15 p.m. Concessions, including beer, will be for sale. This week, Ribo Flavin. More Info
Friday August 16
Alfresco! Fridays. This week, Captain Radio. 6 p.m. Arts Festival Plaza located between the El Paso Museum of Art and the Plaza Theatre. No outside food or beverages, or pets allowed. More Info
Friday at the Fire. Live music by local bands set against the ambiance of the Freedom Crossing outdoor fireplace. 6- 11 p.m. This week, Sobredosis del Sabor. DJ Darrin kicks the night off at 6 p.m.
Sunday August 18
Zin Valle Vineyards Free Music Sundays. Bring your family and friends, pack a picnic and enjoy the afternoon at Zin Valle Vineyards. Free wine tasting and music. 12 Noon to 5 p.m.This week, guitarist and singer James Springer. More Info
