The mobile food trucks have returned to downtown El Paso. With warmer weather here to stay, the food trucks that make up the open air food court known as Foodville have once again converged on Mills Avenue.

On my visit, Takorexico, The Food Gallery, The Reef Mobile Kitchen, and Sweet Addiction had set up shop, and were offering everything from burgers, and shrimp quesadillas to Korean-Mexican fusion tacos, and cupcakes. I’m told what they offer isn’t always necessarily the same from week to week or day to day, so visit their Facebook page for the latest food changes, news and specials.

Foodville is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 218 East Mills, between Mesa and Stanton across the street from the Downtown post office. Seating is entirely outside, but there are plenty of tables and benches. And anyway, this time of the year is perfect for alfresco dining.
