El Pasoan Elia Esparza Appearing on ‘La Voz Mexico’

El Pasoan Elia Esparza is not giving up on her dream of becoming a pop star.

The former The Voice contestant is trying her luck on another singing competition television show. Esparza can currently be seen showcasing her talents on the Mexican version of The Voice, La Voz... Mexico.

Elia, who was eliminated in the battle rounds last October, is no stranger to singing in Spanish. If you recall, she sang Selena's "Como La Flor" during her blind audition on The Voice, impressing three of the four judges enough to turn their chair.

The Americas High School graduate has once again made it through the blind auditions -- ironically, with an all-English rendition of Ariana Grande’s "Side to Side".

And this time all 4 judges turned their chair.

Esparza resisted the charms of Colombian singer and songwriter Maluma, choosing to go with Italian pop singer-songwriter and television personality Laura Pausini.
