El Paso Zoo To Give Visitors Free WiFi Internet Access

The City of El Paso is working on becoming a truly digital city, and to futher that goal along, you can now get free wireless Internet access at the El Paso Zoo.

You can get free internet from your personal devices just by connecting to Digital El Paso from your wireless network menu. Access points have been deployed throughout the Zoo to ensure you stay connected while you visit. Zoo officials say the new feature gives you the chance to use the Zoo's online resources like animal information pages, the interactive map, and the Zoo's event calendar while you're there. You can even check out your email or surf the web with no impact to your data plan.

There are no special settings, usernames or passwords to use the service. Because the web access isn't going to be monitored, you shouldn't transmit personal, financial, or legal data over the public network.
