The El Paso Zoo will celebrate the holidays with Santa at the Zoo and delivering special treats to the animals this Saturday, December 13, 2014.

Zoo visitors will have the chance to meet Santa (11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) and the Grinch (1:30 – 4 p.m.) to take pictures with them for $6 with proceeds from the photos benefiting the El Paso Zoological Society.

From 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., the animals in the Zoo’s Asian section will open special gifts that will be delivered by Santa that morning. The community is invited to watch as the animals open up their holiday treats in their exhibits.

  • 11:00 a.m. Nocturnal Animals in Asian Forest Complex
  • 11:30 a.m. Przewalski’s Horses
  • 12: 00 p.m. Asian Elephants (after daily program)
  • 12:30 p.m. Sumatran Orangutans
  • 12:45 p.m. Malayan Sun Bear
  • 1:00 p.m. Malayan Tiger
  • 1:30 p.m. Siamang
  • 2:15 p.m. Asian Elephants
