The first Pokémon Go Safari Night at the El Paso Zoo was such a success that they are bringing it back. A second Pokemon Go Safari will be held Saturday, August 13, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

There is a $10 fee for all guests ages 3 and up. All regular concessions and snack carts will be open, and beer and wine will be available. Advance tickets are now available and if you have an advance ticket, you'll be able to skip the lines. The Zoo will be open during its regular business hours on Saturday, and then close at 5 p.m. They will reopen at 6 p.m. and animals will begin to go off exhibit at 7:45 p.m. The last entry the Pokémon Go Safari Night is at 9 p.m. and the Zoo will close at 10 p.m.

The Zoo has its own Gym, 17 Pokéstops, water Pokémon and several rare Pokémon – including Charmander, Pikachu and Snorlax. Two lures (which attract and hold Pokémon for 30 minutes) will be dropped in two locations (four total lures) every 15 minutes from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The lure locations hints will be available in advance on the Zoo’s Twitter profile. An additional 20 lures will be dropped at secret locations throughout the Zoo.
