This weekend you can discover that reptiles are scaly, not scary, at the El Paso Zoo’s Reptilia, a celebration of the world of reptiles.

Families can slither in for this inaugural event for a cool weekend with the Zoo’s cold-blooded collection. Reptilia will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, 2015, at the El Paso Zoo. From lizards and iguanas to alligators and tortoises, Reptilia will host fun and interactive programs for all ages while providing a higher quality of life for our community through this educational and recreational opportunity.

Jurassic Dinosaur’s Baby T-Rex will make a special appearance with a meet & greet 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday and 11:30 to 1 p.m. on Sunday as part of the Reptilia celebration. Guests may crawl through a giant snake, take part in kids’ activities, special appearances from the Zoo’s Alligator Mascot, a fun quiz game Safari Rama, special reptile Meet the Keeper talks, and up close reptile animal encounters for the full “scaly, not scary” reptile experience.
