Could someone please inform the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks there is no longer any need to play the big game on Sunday. Juno and Savannah, the El Paso Zoo’s Asian elephants, have already chosen a victor.

Here are a few other animal prognostications from around the country that we talked about on Mike and Tricia Mornings: Hugh and Buffet, a couple of manatees from the Mote Marine Laboratory in Florida, were split on their decision. Hugh went with the Seahawks, while Buffett took the Broncos.

Luckily for Denver, Buffett has correctly picked the winner of each of the past six Super Bowls. Another animal pair, Komodo dragons Murphy and Diablo, are also siding with Denver, as are the puppies on Animal Planet's Puppy Cam.

Meanwhile, a pot-bellied pig at the Fort Worth Zoo named Pancakes likes Seattle. Eli, the ape at the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, and Teddy the porcupine concur. Eli hasn't been wrong since 2006, and the porcupine has correctly predicted the last two Super Bowls.

Clearly, animals are no better at forecasting sporting events than us humans. And that, as the saying goes, is why they play the game. Go Broncos!
