40 year old Susana Flores was seen on her cell phone around 3 o’clock Monday morning just before she crashed head on into another car. Four passengers inside that car had minor injuries, but Flores died later at University Medical Center.

Witnesses reported seeing Flores on her cell phone at the time of the accident.

As if that accident wasn’t bad enough, another car became involved as officers were investigating the Flores accident. While police were on the scene of the accident Flores caused, 29-year-old Belen Rosas smashed into the back of the car Flores hit. She was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on the charge of DWI. Neither she nor her passenger were injured.
