Winterfest 2017- What to Know Before You Go
The holidays just got a lot colder and Downtown a lot cooler.
The City of El Paso has once again transformed the area around the Plaza Theatre into a Winter Wonderland of lights and seasonal festivities that includes ice skating.
The outdoor skating rink, located next to the El Paso Museum of Art, will be open from November 18 through January 1. Other attractions include a Winter Village full of vendors, and the Kringle Kafe where you can sit down and enjoy snacks and hot beverages.
Instagrammable Winterfest decorations include a 25-foot Christmas tree and 6-foot snow globe -- both offer great photo opportunities, but especially the life-size snow globe which you can pose inside of.
So if you're ready to welcome the holidays with open arms, and glide, slide and twirl the Christmas season away, here's what you need to know before you go.
