Wyler Ariel Tramway – Take in the beauty of our city and surroundings from 5,632 feet above sea level. Once on top there are several viewing areas, a gift shop, and Swiss-made gondolas that will take you on a soaring 4-minute ride above the canyon. 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Franklin Mountains State Park, 1700 McKinley. Movies on the Lawn at UTEP – A Family friendly event featuring Hollywood blockbusters shown outdoors on an 18-foot inflatable screen. Concessions available. This week’s featured film is “Zootopia”. Red Raider Reels Free Movie Series - "The Wizard of Oz" will be screened on the main lawn of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences campus, weather permitting. Father's Day Dino Hike - Hike the 2 ½ mile dinosaur trail at Mt. Cristo Rey with dad and check out all the footprints left behind from when dinosaurs roamed our area.
