Here’s what’s going on in and around El Paso this weekend, March 22 – March 24. Some events are free, some will cost you a few bucks.

SATURDAY:

Sun City Yard Sale – The city-wide yard sale will feature more than 100 vendor booths selling antiques, furniture, community yard sale items, and new products from home based businesses and retail businesses alike. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cohen Stadium. Admission: $3.00 per person; two for $5.00, or $2.00 per person with a canned food item. More Details

Franklin Mountain Poppies Preservation Celebration - The 7th annual Poppies Fest will feature a day of nature talks, wildlife displays, educational exhibits, music and food vendors demonstrations, Houdini the Harris Hawk, and more. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at El Paso Museum of Archaeology, 4301 Transmountain in Northeast El Paso. SUNDAY:

‘Lord of the Dance’ - Broadway in El Paso Series presents Michael Flatley’s mesmerizing blend of traditional and modern Celtic music and dance. 7 p.m. at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets: $30-$55. More Details

San Elizario Historic District Walking Tour - Take a guided walking tour of the 17 historic sites of San Elizario and learn about the arrival of Don Juan de Onate and the First Thanksgiving Celebration, the Presidio de San Elizario and the San Elcear Chapel on the Mission Trail among others. The tour will take approximately one hour and a half and is done at a slow pace. Tour time are Noon and 3 p.m. Free. More Details
