El Paso Trash Schedule for New Year’s Holidays

Here is a complete New Year’s holiday schedule for collections, landfill, and drop-off sites.

In observance of the New Year’s Day holiday on Wednesday, January 1, the City of El Paso Environmental Services Department (ESD) is making the following changes to its trash and recyclables operations:

• Trash & Recyclables Collections
• No collections New Year’s Day
• Residents with Wednesday collections to have waste picked up Saturday, January 4
• No other collection days affected

Greater El Paso Landfill

• Closed to public at noon New Year’s Eve
• Closed New Year’s Day

Citizen Collection Stations

• Closed Monday, December 30 - Wednesday, January 1
• Regular hours rest of week

The Greater El Paso Landfill is located at 2300 Darrington Road and is normally open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Citizen Collection Stations are regularly open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Locations include:

• 121 Atlantic Rd
• 4200 Delta Dr
• 2492 Harrison Ave
• 4501 Hondo Pass Ave
• 1034 Pendale Rd
