El Paso is a military town, and KISS FM loves to help support our troops.  This Friday, we'd like to ask for your help, as well!

The USO has 3 centers in El Paso - one at the airport, and 2 on Fort Bliss - where troops can go and get a hot meal, use one of the centers laptops or cellphones, or grab a pillow and blanket and take a nap on one of the couches.  At the airport USO center, troops and their dependants, and retired military can also relax as they travel through El Paso.  The good news is, it's all free for troops!

The bad news is, it costs money to provide free stuff, and the USO is a non-profit agency that relies only on donations to do their work.

That's why this Friday, October 18th, USO volunteers will be at the Neighborhood WalMart near the corner of Vista Del Sol and Zaragoza beginning at 4:30 p.m., armed with "shopping lists" of items needed to stock the 3 centers that give comfort to our troops.

It's called the Stuff A Truck Drive, and all donations, cash and supplies, will stay here in El Paso and on Fort Bliss to help the men and women who keep our nation safe.  Please stop by and either shop from the list of items needed, or just leave a couple of bucks that can be used to buy items that are needed.

WalMart is such a wonderful partner to Mike and Tricia Mornings during our Easter Basket drive and our Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive!  We are lucky that they are such fabulous community partners!  A big thanks goes out to them for stepping up again to help out the El Paso community!

I'll be out there beginning at 4:30, and I would love to meet you!  Please help us help our troops!
