Because of the ongoing snow this afternoon, there are a number of closures you need to know about:

As of 2:54 p.m. - Clint ISD says they will keep an eye on weather conditions overnight and road conditions in the morning and decide by 5 a.m. if there will be a change to the regular school schedule.

Socorro ISD - All schools will start 2 hours from their regular start time Friday morning.

As of 2:44 p.m. - The UTEP Women's Basketball game will go on as scheduled. Tip-off is at 7p.m. and the game is free!

El Paso VA Health Care System clinics (El Paso main facility, east El Paso and Las Cruces) CLOSED at 2:30 p.m. due to weather.

As of 2:38 p.m. - The El Paso International Airport is open and closely monitoring local weather conditions. Airlines are reporting flight delays and possible cancellations due to weather. If you are scheduled to fly today or tonight, call your airline and/or check their airline’s website for up-to-date information.

As of 2:27 p.m. - The San Elizario Independent School District will be delayed by TWO hours Friday, January 23, 2015. Only Loya Primary School MORNING half-day Prekindergarten classes will be cancelled. Buses will pick up at the designated bus stop on a two hour delayed schedule as well.

As of 2:23 p.m. - TRASH COLLECTION INFORMATION - Several Westside neighborhoods will not have their trash or recyclables collected today (Thursday, January 22). Collection trucks are currently unable to safely maneuver these streets; residents affected by this change will have their trash and recyclables picked up tomorrow (Friday, January 23). Streets affected by the weather include: Via Cuesta Dr., Via Alta Ln., Via Bonita Ln., Via Alegre Ln., Ojo De Agua Dr., Los Siglos Dr., and numerous other streets in the Franklins neighborhood.

CITIZEN COLLECTION STATIONS - Effective immediately, all five Citizen Collection Stations will close for the day (Thursday, January 22).

GREATER EL PASO LANDFILL – The Greater El Paso Landfill will close at 2pm today (Thursday, January 22).

As of 2:08 p.m. - Canutillo ISD will be releasing students early. High schools 2pm. Elementary school 2:30pm. Middle school 3:00pm. Canutillo will have a 2 hour delayed start tomorrow.

El Paso Parks and Recreation - Recreation, Sports, Aquatics and Senior Centers losing at 2:00 p.m.

Traffic all over town is very congested. Drive carefully. If you can't see the sun, TURN YOUR LIGHTS ON!

As of 1:59 p.m. - EPCC WILL CLOSE AT 2:00PM. NO CLASSES WILL MEET AFTER 2:00PM AND OFFICES WILL CLOSE. ALSO EPCC WILL HAVE A LATE START TOMORROW, FRIDAY, JANUARY 23. CLASSES WILL START AND OFFICES WILL OPEN AT10:00AM.

As of 1:46 p.m. Thursday afternoon - EPISD is reporting that they will have a delayed start Friday morning until 10 a.m..

El Paso County employees are being released at 3 p.m.

El Paso County Courthouse will have a delayed start Friday morning until 10 a.m.

UTEP will have a delayed start Friday morning until 10 a.m..

* Fort Bliss All non-essential personnel released from duty by 12:00 p.m. William Beaumont hospital and supporting medical clinics, liberal leave is in effect. Emergency and critical care services available. Patients should call to confirm status of appointments.

*Las Cruces Public Schools Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m., and middle and high schools will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. Lunch is being served and buses will be running. After-school programs are cancelled for today.

*NMSU Las Cruces and Doña Ana campuses Closed as of 10 a.m. The campus will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday; classes before that time are cancelled.

*White Sands Missile Range Closed

*GADSDEN ISD Tonight's school board meeting is cancelled.

*El Paso County Day School Closed.

*Transmountain and Scenic Drive are closed.

UPDATE: 1:17 PM:

Southwest University: Tonight's classes cancelled.

EL PASO COUNTY COURTHOUSE: Closing at 2 p.m. today. Delayed start Friday morning 10a.m.

EPISD dismissal at 1:30 p.m. for middle schools, 2 p.m. for elementaries, 2:30 p.m. for high schools. The district will be on a 2-hour delay on Friday.

*City of El Paso employees are being dismissed at 2 p.m.

*EPCC: Work and class schedules remain in effect, no cancellations. Weather conditions are being monitored

*YISD Elementary students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. Middle and high school students will be dismissed at 2 p.m. All after-school activities cancelled, including the House Bill 5 meeting at Eastwood Middle School, and the "Sharing the Vision: The Renaissance of Ysleta ISD" community meeting at Riverside High.

*Socorro ISD: After-school activities cancelled. No word on school dismissal being changed.

*San Elizario ISD: After-school activities cancelled.

*Canutillo ISD: After school activities cancelled. School released at regular times.

Mesa from Executive Center to Mesa Hills is closed so it can be sanded and salted.
