El Paso Public Library Offering Scholarships for Accredited High School Diplomas

The El Paso Public Library is offering free scholarships for adults to get a diploma online from Career Online High School.

In order to receive a scholarship and register for the online program, applicants must do the following:

• Successfully complete an online self-assessment
• Successfully complete a 2-week prerequisite course
• Complete an in-person interview with trained library staff.

Once a scholarship is awarded, students can enroll in the online high school program. To enroll, students must be 19 years of age or older, have an El Paso Public Library card, be able to devote at least 8 hours per week to course work and have access to a computer with internet either at home or at a public library.
