Join the El Paso Public Library for a free, fun, and virtual celebration of the Fourth of July.

The El Paso Public Library is celebrating the Fourth of July virtual by hosting a series of fun interactive and educational activities that feature a holiday cooking demo, a historical visit of Independence Day celebrations of the past in El Paso, and even a special July 4th balloon twisting tutorial.

Families will be able to participate in these family programs throughout the Fourth of July weekend that began with a QuaranTEEN Cooking demo yesterday, Thursday, July 2 on the El Paso Public Library’s Facebook page.

Fourth of July Programming:

Friday - July 3, 2020

  • Mandy the Mule's Hunt for History at 2 p.m.
  • Mandy digs through the library archives to research past Fourth of July celebrations

Saturday - July 4, 2020

  • Balloon Tutorial with Aimee at 11 a.m.
  • Learn to create a handheld patriotic balloon display to show your patriotism.
