Parents and preschoolers are invited to participate in free story time provided at several El Paso Public Libraries across the city.

Story time sessions are held every week for free beginning at 11 a.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at all El Paso Library branches.

Each story time session includes some type of interactive activity such as a sing-along, crafts, puppets or dancing designed to develop young bodies and minds. Library story times are a great way to expose toddlers to new books, ideas and voices necessary for cognitive development.

Taking preschoolers to the library is not only fun, it can also help develop their learning and language skills. According to experts, reading to your child is crucial to developing good developmental habits such as studying and critical thinking.
