El Paso Police say two men went to a lot of trouble to steal a classic car and a trailer. The theft happened at JB Integrity Automotive shop at 1080 County Club Road on May 3. and managed to forcefully move a 2016 Ford Escape, to gain access to a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro.

The men wanted a 1972 white, original condition, Chevy Camaro, but had to move a 2016 Ford Escape to get to it. They did just that and then drove the Camaro out of the shop. It stalled a short distance from the business, but the men were determined. They went back to the automotive shop and this time stole a U-Haul vehicle trailer, loaded the Camaro onto the trailer and then took off again.

These guys were seen in the business earlier in the evening when one of them went to buy gas, and then the other suspect tried to pull off a beer run later that night, but the store clerk put a stop to that.

Police say the suspects are believed to be familiar with the Country Club area and might frequent area businesses.

If you have any information on these two alleged thieves, please call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-8477(TIPS).
