It's every parent's worst nightmare - some guy on the internet lures their child somewhere for sex after talking to them online. It happens all the time, but this time, the man who allegedly tried to set up a sex date with a teenaged girl was talking with a police investigator.

El Paso Police officers with the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit pretended to be a 13-year-old girl and chatted with 27-year-old Josue Raul Hernandez who said he wanted to meet for sex. Investigators said that he had already been talking to a 13 year old girl and the police used her online account to continue talking to Hernandez. They set up a meeting with him on Wednesday and arrested him at the address he showed up to where he thought he was going to meet the teen. He was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor Under 14 years old.

A 27 year old man talking to someone he thought was a 13 year old girl. For sex.

If your kid gives you grief about monitoring their online time and you start feeling bad about having to do that, just remember this guy. Who knows if he has tried this before and succeeded. Who knows what he intended to do with the little girl he thought he was meeting up with.

Thank heavens for police investigators who pose as teenagers to catch sickos, sorry, alleged sickos, like this guy.
