A popular El Paso pizza joint has suddenly closed its doors.

A sign greeted customers at all four Pizza Patron locations around town yesterday that said they were out of business.

The sign at the Pizza Patrons on North Loop Drive, Americas Avenue, Montana Avenue and Lee Trevino said the restaurants were out of business and the lockout happened because of late rent.

The signs also said that the locks had been changed, and the new keys would be given back when the back rent was paid.

Calls to the Dallas corporate offices of Pizza Patron were not returned.

KFOX14 tried to contact the Pizza Patron locations, but all of their phone lines had been disconnected.

There is no word on whether employees were told about the closures.
