The City of El Paso will be closing two sports complexes this week due to projected severe weather this week.

The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department has closed the following sports complexes in El Paso due to sever weather and to protect the safety of the public for the remainder of the week. The following two complexes include:

  • Northeast Regional Sports Complex located at 11270 McCombs Dr.
  • Westside Sports Complex located at 201 Isela Rubacalva St.

Both complexes will remain closed due to flooding last week, in addition to this week’s rain. The Parks and Recreation Department is expected to re-open the sports fields on Monday, September 12, 2016, weather permitting of course.
