El Paso Parks and Recreation is Having a Pooch Pool Party – ‘Dog Day Swimming’ Coming in September

It's almost pool paw-ty time!

The City Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its yearly pooch swim party next month.

This year's annual “Dog Day Swimming” event happens Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11 at Nations Tobin Aquatic Center, 8831 Railroad Dr. in Northeast El Paso.

For two dollars per dog, you and Fido can splash around and frolic in the pool for a few hours with other friendly water-loving dogs and their owners.

So gather up your dog’s shot records between now and then, as you'll need copies of your dog's shot records to participate. Dogs will not be allowed to doggy paddle with collar tags only. All shot records must show that your dog is current on Rabies, Distemper and Parvo.
