El Paso Named America’s Best Large City for Families

If you’re looking for a great place to raise a family in, you can stop now. You already live there.

El Paso ranked at the top of the 2017 Best Cities for Families list compiled by an apartment hunting website.

The site analyzed data for over 500 cities using a methodology calculated on four factors described as “of particular importance to families”: child friendliness, education quality, housing affordability and safety.

Of the 25 largest cities in America, El Paso scored best, with an "A-"overall grade.

Last September, the Sun City was ranked in the top half in a similar study conducted by a consumer finance website. Of the 150 cities measured to determine 2016’s Best & Worst Cities for Families, El Paso was the 55th best overall and the ninth best in Texas.
