El Paso Museum of Art Hosting Family Day This Weekend

Spring is here and the El Paso Museum of Art is celebrating a family fun and interactive weekend during their Family Day celebration this Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.

This weekend families are encouraged to head out to the El Paso Museum of Art to explore and discover what the museum has to offer including performances and activities an much more for the whole family.

Saturday - April 8, 2017:

• 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Have fun making your own unique art piece with local artist Candie Printz, who will demonstrate how to make sculptures using recycled and other found objects.
• 2 p.m. - Attendees will enjoy an interactive performance with New World Drummers in support of the El Paso Museum of Arts special exhibition of African-American art.
