El Paso Girl Scouts To Donate Cookies To Soldiers From Fort Bliss

Fort Bliss soldiers stationed overseas will get the chance to chow down on something that makes America great - Girl Scout Cookies!

The Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest collected over 12,000 boxes of their famous cookies during this year's Gift of Caring Service Project. The cookies will be accepted by the Directorate of Mobilization and Deployment, Commander Col. John F. Dorney, along with several soldiers from Fort Bliss at the air deployment facility on East Fort Bliss, this week.

The cookies will be delivered to soldiers in theaters of operation in Southwest Asia.
