Hello everybody,

I'll be starting a weekly post featuring local gems.  What exactly does that mean?  Well I have a sneaking suspicion that the definition will evolve as time goes on.  For now it just means that I'll be giving you a little information about places, people and events around town that have made a positive impression on me.  Feel free to make suggestions if you'd like by e-mailing me at achavez@ksii.com
