Lot’s of things happen this time of year. We fall back and gain an extra hour with daylight saving time. We start getting ready for the holidays, and we can go back to a winter watering schedule.
From April 1 until September 30, you can only water your yard before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. and only on your designated days depending on your address.

No matter what time of year, you cannot water on Mondays.

The watering schedule is included in the city's water conservation ordinance which has been in effect since 1991. If you violate the ordinance you could get fined up to $500.

You can water pretty much any time you want from now until April 1, but remember not to let water run onto the street or sidewalk, and don’t water on Mondays.
