El Paso Food Truck Named BBQ Food Truck of the Year

An El Paso food truck has been named BBQ Food Truck of the Year by the website Mobile Cuisine, which bills itself as the online resource destination for the mobile food industry.

Adrian Padilla’s Off the Grill Food Truck received the honor after garnering the most votes in an online competition that started with 2,000 nominees nationwide. Not bad for an 18-year-old who bought his food truck just last August and has only had it on the streets since November. Off the Grill was also recently voted Best Food Truck in the latest El Paso Times Best of the Border reader’s poll.
