El Paso Fire Department Offering Free CPR Classes
The American Red Cross and the Drowning Prevention Coalition of El Paso have teamed up to offer CPR classes for free and a cool gift as a thank you.
The El Paso Fire Department will be offering FREE CPR classes to the public May 16th from 1p.m. - 3p.m. at the following locations.
YMCA, 1600 Brown St. 79902
YWCA, 313 Bartlett Dr. 79912
YMCA, 5509 Will Ruth Ave. 79924
Pavo Real Recreation Center, 9301 Alameda Ave 79907
Anyone who completes the CPR Hands-Only classes will be rewarded with a free swim pass to any El Paso YMCA pool until August 31, 2015. In addition to the free YMCA swim pass, 25 people who complete the classes will also receive a free day pass to Wet n' Wild Waterworld.
The El Paso Fire Department is encouraging anyone with a swimming pool at home to take advantage of the free classes. These skills could help save a life in an emergency swimming situation.
