To me, there is nothing worse than being cold. I love winter and hot chocolate and all that stuff, but being in a cold place is misery to me. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who don't have any choice but to be cold. That's where the Extreme Weather Task Force comes in.

There are a lot of needy people who could use a blanket to stave off the cold, but they don't have the money for a blanket. That's where you come in.

The Extreme Weather Task Force takes donated blankets and makes them available to people who need them. Over the past two years, the ETWF has collected and delivered over 1,100 blankets. If you have a new blanket, you can drop them off at any El Paso area fire station.

To learn more about donating a blanket to the Extreme Weather Task Force, you can call 2-1-1 and follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
