Here’s what’s going on in and around El Paso this weekend, November 15 – November 17. Some events are free, some will cost you a few bucks:

FRIDAY:

UTEP Basketball Battle of I-10 - The men's team travel to Las Cruces to take on the NMSU Aggies. 7 p.m. at the Pan Am Center. Ticket prices vary. More Details

Friday at the Fire – Live music by local bands set against the ambiance of the Freedom Crossing outdoor fireplace. 6- 11 p.m. Free. Tonight, Mark Monroe, 7 p.m. DJ Darrin kicks the night off at 6 p.m.

Downtown Ghost Tour – El Paso Ghost Tours will take you inside downtown’s most haunted and historical buildings and conduct full paranormal investigations. Two walking tours, 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Meet at Leo’s Mexican Restaurant, 315 E Mills Ave. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door, discounts available. More Details

SATURDAY:

UTEP Football – The Miners final home game of the season versus Florida International. 6:00 p.m. at Sun Bowl Stadium. Ticket prices vary. More Details

Downtown Artist and Farmers Market – The market offers the chance to shop for original arts and crafts and regionally grown produce in an outdoor setting while enjoying entertainment featuring local artists, food vendors and free activities for the entire family. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Union Plaza District (near The Garden Restaurant) along Anthony Street. Farmer’s Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing – The annual “producers only” market featuring area farmers, backyard gardeners and artisans selling organic and pesticide-free vegetables, locally-made goat cheeses, natural free range chickens and eggs, native plants for home and yard, fresh-baked breads and salsas. Paso Del Norte Paranormal Society Downtown Ghost Tour – Walk the streets of haunted downtown El Paso, and go inside the remains of The Palace Saloon “where spirits touch back!” Meet between History Museum and Main Library by 8:30 p.m. $10. More Details

UTEP Department of Music Gala – Featuring performances by the UTEP choirs, orchestra, wind symphony, and jazz band. 2:30 p.m. in the UTEP Magoffin Auditorium. Tickets are $10. More Details

El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestras Fall Concert – Young musicians of the Greater El Paso region will perform works by Verdi, Elgar and Dvorak. All four youth orchestras will participate. 3 p.m. at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. Tickets are $12, discounts available. More Details

Mission Trails Art Market – The open-air market features arts and crafts, music, and the ‘Billy The Kid Breakout Show’ by The Pistoleros De San Elizario re-enactors at 1p.m and 3 p.m. Market open from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Veteran’s Memorial Plaza, 1500 Main in San Elizario.
