El Paso School Kids Competing For Free Sun Bowl Tickets

There is a cool contest that has El Paso area elementary school kids competing for the chance for their classroom to get tickets to the 84th Annual Hyundai Sun Bowl. The A’DOOR’N The Schools Door Decorating contest has kids from all over El Paso decorating the doors of their classrooms in a Hyundai Sun Bowl theme.

Sun Bowl Association Executive Director Bernie Olivas said this is the first time they've done something like this with area schools and they are really impressed with the entries they've gotten so far. He said the entries 'reflect the artistic and creative minds we have in the El Paso school systems.'

The competing entries can be seen on the Hyundai Sun Bowl Faceboo page. You can vote for your favorite until Friday, December 8 at 5:00 p.m. (MST). Whichever classroom picture gets highest number of likes, that is the classroom that will get the Sun Bowl tickets. The winning classroom will also get a hot dog and beverage during the game.
