Contrary to local belief, El Paso drivers aren't the worst -- at least not according to Allstate.

The insurance giant's analysis of its most recent claim data found Sun City drivers go an average of 10.3 years between accidents. That’s good enough to make us the 50th safest driving city out of the top 200 cities in the country.

We’re not even all that bad behind the wheel when it rains; El Paso ranks 60th when precipitation is thrown into the mix.

If those couple of stats surprised you, then this one will definitely blow you away. The worst drivers in America are not from Las Cruces. I know, right?! Boston took the top spot in that category for the second straight year in a row. Brownsville, Texas, is America’s safest driving city.
