The El Paso County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office will be relocating to a new location at Ascarate Park.

The current El Paso County Tax Assessor-Collector’s main office which is currently located in downtown El Paso at 500 East Overland Suite 101 will be moving to a new and refurbished location at Ascarate Park.

The downtown office will close on Wednesday, Aug. 19 and will re-open on Monday, Aug. 24 at Ascarate Lake Park at 301 Manny Martinez Street. This new location will also welcome the Enforcement Division which is moving from its current Northeast office. New office hours will remain the same: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Free parking, which was a problem downtown, will be available to customers along with vehicle inspections being provided after Aug. 24. In the meantime, customers may use any of the three county branch offices located throughout the city:
