El Paso Company To Lay Off Workers

So sad to hear with today's economy. A local huge company will be making some major cut backs, including lay offs...The Hoover vacuum manufacturing plant in West El Paso plans to lay off 151 workers at the end of March cutting their employee count nearly in half.

A review company is stating it is need to keep the market competitive. No statement from the company has been made as of yet. Workforce Solutions' staff will be at the Hoover plant within the next two weeks to talk to workers about unemployment benefits, training programs and job-search tools.
