El Paso Chihuahuas Famous San Diego Chicken Appearance is this Sunday

The most famous costumed mascot in sports history, The San Diego Chicken, will make his first ever appearance at Southwest University Park this Sunday, July 13.

The iconic fowl, an El Paso favorite since the early days of Diablos baseball, hasn’t entertained the Sun city with his comedic on the field antics in quite a few years so his return should be something special. Let’s hope he’s still doing the classics, like heckling umpires after a bad call, casting a spell on the opposing team’s dugout, and the baby chick routine. Now that’s comedy! Who knows, maybe he’ll even get into a dance off with Chico.
