El Barrio Park Gets New Playground Equipment, Updated Basketball Court

Residents of the Chamizal Neighborhood in South-Central El Paso will soon enjoy new playground equipment and an updated basketball court.

Upgrades at El Barrio Park, 3001 Findley Avenue, were funded by federal Community Development Block Grants drawn down by the City of El Paso’s Community and Human Development Department. The total budget of the project was $160,649.
