Several people are reported injured after an explosion ripped through a fertilizer plant north of Waco, Texas on Wednesday afternoon.

A huge plume of smoke rose into the air after the explosion around 7:50 p.m. No word on what caused the explosion, yet. Evacuations are underway. The blast was felt up to 15 miles away.

The local hospital has called in all staffers to help the injured patients. Police officers are reportedly transporting people to the hospital in patrol cars and multiple helicopters are en route.
