The nights around downtown El Paso will be a whole lot brighter through Christmas now that the downtown Christmas tree in San Jacinto Plaza has been officially lit. Led by ABC-7's Estela Casas, the crowd counted down from 3 to 1 signaling Mayor John Cook and two children from Candlelighters of El Paso to flip the switch on the ten thousand plus lights that decorated the 54-foot tree Saturday night.
