Don’t Say You Heard It From Me, But, Did You Know…Rocky Balboa

The character of "Rocky Balboa" was inspired by real life boxer Chuck Wepner. Young actor Sylvester Stallone saw the fight at home between Chuck and Muhammad Ali in 1975, and was inspired to write the script for "Rocky" which won an academy award for best picture in 1976.
