Property taxes are due by the end of January. If you don’t pay before then, you will accrue penalties. Here are some links to places and information on the City website that can help you with information on paying your property taxes.

If you are paying with a credit card, click on the link to find out how much your taxes are and then go to the Property Tax Balance web page, click on Pay Now and follow the prompts. You need to know that you can no longer use American Express. The City no longer accepts it as a form of payment. You can use Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

To pay by phone, you'll need an E-check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), and your tax bill for access to necessary information. Call 915-212-0106 and follow the prompts.

To pay by mail, you'll need your tax bill, either a personal or cashier check, or money order. You cannot pay by mail with cash. The payment has to be postmarked beforeJanuary 31. Mail your payment to:

To pay in person, go to the City Tax Office, 221 N. Kansas Ste. 300 (Wells Fargo Building, 3rd floor). You'll need a personal or cashier check, money order, or cash.

There is a lot more information about your property tax bill on the City website, but remember, you need to pay by January 31 to avoid penalties.
