'Reading Rainbow' was one of my kids favorite shows when they were growing up. LeVar Burton, who hosted the show, was such a goofball and so much fun to watch. The show ran from 1983 to 2006 on PBS, and now, a Kickstarter campaign is trying to raise money to bring it back!

Burton wants the 'Rainbow' to come back, so he set up a Kickstarter campaign to raise enough money to get it back on the air. More than 36,000 people have already logged on and donated more than one point six million dollars to the campaign. The original amount Burton was looking for was a million dollars!
