We all go to ATMs to pull out money, but a trip to an ATM turned into a scary moment for a man who tried to rob him in west El Paso.

KFOX TV reports that around 9:45 in the evening of February 27, a man was at the Bank of America ATM at 7575 N. Mesa. The bank is located near the Walmart by Desert Blvd. A man approached the victim and appeared to be carrying an AK-27 assault rifle. One of the suspects allegedly stood by the victim’s car as the the other suspect tried to use the victim's ATM card.

When they weren't able to get into the victim's account, the men threw the victim’s card to the ground, and then left in an older-model black Cadillac CTS with chrome rims. One of the suspects is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. The second suspect is a Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches tall with an average build.
