The Diocese of El Paso held their Blue Mass on Wednesday to honor fallen law enforcement officers, and to pray for the safety of currently serving law enforcement officers in El Paso.

On Monday, October 3, the Diocese and the El Paso St. Thomas More Society will celebrate the Red Mass for El Paso area judges, attorneys, law professors, and students. The Diocese says the Mass is to “request guidance from the Holy Spirit for all who seek justice and offer the opportunity to reflect on what Catholics believe is the God-given power and responsibility of all in the legal profession.”

The Red Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa, at 5:00 p.m. Judges will gather for vesting in the St. Patrick school cafeteria at 4:30 p.m. They will take part in the procession. A reception will follow in the St. Patrick school gym.
