And believe it or not they kept Michael Jacksonfrom having two back to back #1 hits in the U.S by seperating his hits, Billie Jean and Beat it – Keeping them a week apart – while Come On Eileen basked in the glory that week at #1!
Although short-lived – Dexy’s Midnite Runners hit has earned the honor of being VH1′s #1 Greatest One Hit Wonder of the 80′s!
