I have noticed so many new ways to connect with local singles lately. Some of my single friends use these sites and I took an interest in how hard it is to meet someone nowadays. Here are my top picks for dating websites and the low down on what people think about them.

    Zoosk

Zoosk has been around for some time and I have heard some good things about it. Zoosk's  matchmaking pairs people based on mutual attraction and learns about your preferences as you click. It was voted hands down the best online dating experience. I have never personally tried it but have heard it's the place to be!

    Match.com

Match is great because it does just that...match. If you are looking for someone just into the things you are, this site was made just for that. If you want someone who likes morning hikes with picnics and wine and has a dog, it will for sure find that.

    eHarmony

eHarmony doesn't only produce cute commercials but they use a scientific approach to matching singles. They claim to look at every aspect and ensure better quality dates.

    Tinder

I see Tinder as the most impersonal but possibly the most popular way to meet someone. Based solely on physical attraction. You simply view a pic and give it a thumbs up or pass and the person is notified of all the likes and offers a connection. I could see this as a people Pinterest!

    Plenty of FIsh

Plenty of Fish I see as a site leaned more towards the younger crowd. It works sort of like a Facebook page where you are searching people with profiles and connect with them. It is absolutely free and they have local sites to a specific locale.
