Date for EggstravaganZoo 2019 Revealed

The dates for the El Paso Zoo’s 2019 EggstravaganZoo celebration have been set.

This year, the Easter Bunny will be making a hippity hoppity stoppity the weekend of April 20-21. And zoo officials say it will be more egg-stra-special than last year.

That's because they’ll be combining EggstravaganZoo with another popular event; Party for the Planet, the zoo’s annual Earth Day event.

The two-parties-in-one is the result of Easter Sunday falling nearly 3 weeks later than last year on April 21, and one day before Earth Day, observed annually on April 22.

Typically, EggstravaganZoo includes egg hunts, various live performances, and animal egg-richment egg-tivities. The double celebration should mean double the fun.
